See All. Raw Trax Vol. 2. 2010.
Shift + or, - previous album.
Finnish legend Lil Tony has beat a path away from former collaborators FBI with his Raw Trax releases, the second of which confirms his status as a true house master. Solid State is over 10 minutes long and full of pitch-perfect piano sounds that don't even sound looped - every 8 bars is unique and thrillingly different. Karamba is a pared down tech fest that sets itself up brilliantly for some rising, 1- note strings after a couple of minutes.
Palms Trax - Love In Space. A guaranteed huge one, this is an Italo-flavoured, kosmische-coloured jam with shades of Kowton's "Glock & Roll", taken from Palmsy's new EP. Tue, 12 Mar 2019. Fitting then, that his first solo release is a 100 BPM slow burn that could score a Café del Mar sunset anytime from 1989 to the present.
Lil Tony with another Raw Trax three tracker. Solid State" takes the classic Drum machine vs Piano theme. The B-side "Karamba" is a dry, tight driven tech-workout. Checkpoint Charlie" is a dark mean bass wandering around and giving space for the chuggin main line. RAW TRAX VOL 2 by LIL TONY.

Lil Tony is hotter than hot. While starting to dj and produce years ago, Tony has been a staple in the Scandinavian club scene since the early 90s. An amazing dj (actually one of the favourites around the Moodmusic HQ) and a talented producer, Tony started with the FBI project with Roberto Rodriguez and Kimmo Oksanen before dropping some serious damage on Raw Trax Vol. 1 last year on Moodmusic. Hardworking, never forgetting his gentleman manners, Tony is here to stay and Raw Trax Vol. 2 is a bold new statement, and his best work to date. Solid State takes the classic Detroit influenced Drum machine vs Piano theme a step forward, a impeccable jam of 15 minutes with the beat keeping the pace, this has been roadproofed the last 6 months to good effect.
