Truth is the debut album by Jeff Beck, released in 1968 in the United Kingdom on Columbia Records and in the United States on Epic Records. It introduced the talents of his backing band the Jeff Beck Group, specifically Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood, to a larger audience, and peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200. After leaving the Yardbirds in late 1966, Jeff Beck had released three commercial singles, two in 1967 featuring himself on lead vocals, and one without vocals in 1968
Jeff Beck Group is the fourth and final studio album by The Jeff Beck Group and the second album with the line up of Jeff Beck, Bobby Tench, Clive Chaman, Max Middleton and Cozy Powell. The album was produced by Steve Cropper and often referred to as the Orange Album, because of the orange which appears prominently at the top of the front cover. During January 1972 the second Jeff Beck Group flew to the US and joined Beck at TMI Studios in Memphis, Tennessee.

Beck's guitar and Rod Stewart's voice-amazing! You will recognize many of these songs, whether you heard them from Jeff Beck or from childhood, but they are great. I love Morning Dew for Beck's Guitar, and I've Been Drinking for Stewart's voice. There's not a bad song on the album. 2 people found this helpful. This compilation contains the best tracks from the first two Jeff Beck Group albums from 1968 and 1969. Moreover there are some great singles only tracks from the same period. Beck's first album "Truth" is possibly his greatest and most consistent release. 7 of the tracks come from that album. Beck's Bolero" is in all but name the Yardbirds, in the same line-up that did "Happening 10 Years Time Ago" and the "Blow Up" performance.
