MNLTH - Laser 80 Organic Analogue is a UK label "appealing to people who fondly remember the glitches of VHS and the warped sounds of old tapes. It does this excellently with fringe artists and retro-futurist sounds, putting out acid, electro, breakbeat and techno from Jeremiah . HVL and DJ Guy. Its fourth record nabs another off-the-radar producer who fits the agenda: Rephlex artist David Barnard, known sometimes as David Monolith, but here as MNLTH. In the early 2010s, Barnard's debut EP and LP appeared on Rephlex, and the artist was suspected to be Aphex Twin himself.

MNLTH comes to Organic Analogue with a singular selection of tracks that completely encapsulate his sound in all its warmth and weirdness. This is unsettling electro done the British way, nodding to the electronica tradition but equally channeling a rave spirit throughout. In that sense, it speaks to the core principles of OA perfectly. 111Pad" is a laid-back machine jam of dirty drums, bass and piano stabs, while "Q Express" raises the temperature with a surge of unnerving pads and heavy analogue drums

Needs a repress pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty please!

B1 sounds a lot like Roman Flügel in the 90's

Super P
Amazing "IDM" record focused on "laser-sounding" synths, supported by well-crafted rhythm patterns, with an overall melancholic feel. Great to listen from start to finish, the highlight being "Meadow", as previously stated. Quite limited (300 I believe) and already expensive on the "mint" second-hand market due to deserved good reviews everywhere. Nice artwork too.

Does anyone here know exactly how limited this EP is?

300 pressed. No plans to repress "at present" according to label.

Wow, this is some of the most classic, 90's style techno I've heard in the last decade bar a few notable releases and reminds me much of early Black Dog and surrounding scene. What a treat, don't sleep on this!
